Kanab City Departments

Kanab City has around twenty full-time employees working in various departments. During the summer, the city hires an additional twenty seasonal employees. In addition to these city employees, there are numerous volunteers who serve on several advisory boards and committees.

The City operates on a fiscal year from July 1 through June 30. The various departments are funded through the Government Funds (including General Fund, capital projects and debt service) and the Water and Sewer Enterprise Fund.
