Kanab City Swimming Pool

GENERAL POOL RULES

NO STREET CLOTHES - NO DIAPERS

To minimize the time we have to close the pool due to exposure to fecal matter, it is required to dress all children that are not potty trained with three layers: SWIM DIAPER, SWIM DIAPER COVER, SWIMSUIT

For protection state law requires these three layers for everyone’s safety. Swim diapers and swim diaper covers are available to purchase in the office. Disposable swim diapers are $1.00 ea. and reusable swim pants are $6.00 ea.

 

NO DRUGS, ALCOHOL OR TOBACCO ON THE PREMISES

Any person suspected of being under the influence of any substance will not be admitted and will be asked to leave.

 

FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN FROM OUTSIDE

Except for party reservations no gum, food or drinks near or in the pool. There is a designated area set aside for food and drinks. Please keep food and drinks limited to this area to keep pool and deck clean.

 

THE POOL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS

 

LIFEGUARDS MAY REFUSE ADMITTANCE OR EJECT FROM THE POOL ANY PERSON FAILING TO COMPLY WITH POOL REGULATIONS

Daily lifeguard break: 2:30-2:45 pm

Lap swim is for 18 yrs. and up

 

POOL PRICES

DAILY OPEN SWIM: $4.00

(3 and under free with a paying adult)

SPECIAL NIGHT SWIMS $3.00

10 VISIT PUNCH PASS: $20.00

INDIVIDUAL 1 MONTH PASS: $40.00

INDIVIDUAL SEASON PASS: $80.00

SENIOR SEASON PASS (65+ yrs.): $45.00

FAMILY MONTHLY PASS*: $125.00

FAMILY SEASON PASS*: $200.00

*Family consists of two adults and children that you claim as dependents for tax purposes.

 

POOL PARTIES

The pool is open for reservations Tuesday thru Saturday from 6-9 pm and Saturday morning from 10-11:45 am. A 10 day advanced reservation for all parties is mandatory for scheduling purposes.

Party costs: $45.00 per hour up to 25 people. Over 25 people will be an added charge of $1.00 per person per hour.

 

PARTY ROOM

Party room rental:

During open swim time: $15.00 per hour. There will be a $10.00 cleaning deposit that will be refunded if the room is left clean.

During evening parties:

The party room is available for your use. There will be a $10.00 cleaning deposit that will be refunded if room is left clean.

 

2009 SWIM LESSONS

• 1st session: June 1 - June 12

• 2nd session: June 15th - June 26th

• 3rd session: June 29th - July 10th

• 4th session: July 13th - July 24th

All levels 1-5 will be offered, including a mother-tot class.

Classes will be held Monday through Friday each week.

Classes will be 30 min. in length.

Class times each day are: 10:00 am - 10:30 am, 10:45 am - 11:15 am, and 11:30 am - 12:00 noon.

$35 per student.

Be sure to sign your child up Saturday, May 16th, at the City Pool 8:00 am to 12:00 noon.
