City of Kanab Job Opening3/26/2014
Kanab City is currently seeking a qualified Pool Manager for the Summer 2014 season. As the Pool Manager you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of our pool facilities. Duties include overseeing all pool programs, activities and operations pertaining to staffing, swim lessons and general maintenance/upkeep of the pool area including ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards related to a swimming pool environment and providing a safe and fun experience for our staff and our members.
1 to 3 years supervisory experience
Well-developed customer relations skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous lifeguarding experience
21 years of age or older
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
American Red Cross First Aid and Safety
American Red Cross C.P.R. for the Professional Rescuer
Must have or be willing to obtain Certified Pool/Spa Operator Certification
